The Sr. Manager is responsible for providing strategic and functional leadership in effectively developing and deploying safety measures to achieve targeted business results. EHS Engineer, Greenville, SC to 90K

Our client is a global automotive Tier I supplier that is expanding rapidly. They specialize in the development and manufacturer of plastic products and hi-tech molds for OEM and Tier I suppliers.  They are seeking an EHS Engineer to develop and implement an environmentally and safety compliant workplace. Will assess workplace hazards and lead safety committee & production associates. Observe facility practices and ensure compliance. Develop and deliver effective EHS training and perform investigations.  
Responsibilities and Duties
Environmental : Working knowledge in air, water, solid waste and hazardous materials transportation. Record keeping/reporting, inspection and training.

Industrial Safety : Knowledge in emergency response, electrical safety, bloodborne pathogens, hazardous communication, compressed air, machine guards, lockout/tagout, hand and power tools, overhead cranes, confined space, OSHA recordables and ergonomics. Desire to understand and improve industrial processes and better apply safety programs. 
Industrial Hygiene : Collect samples of dust, gas and other potentially hazardous material for analysis. Review and interpret results and recommend/implement improvements.  

Compliance : Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance . Knowledgeable of federal, state and local laws and codes . Evaluate new construction, capital projects and process modifications for EHS strategies.

Divisional EHS Director, Oak Brook, IL to 160K

The Environment, Health & Safety Director will provide strategic direction and support for the company initiatives related to Health Safety Environmental Affairs across multiple sites. This role will lead and support operations efforts to identify, eliminate and reduce exposures to create a safe and compliant work environment. 

As an integral member of the Division Management Team, the EH&S Director will coach and advise the division and site management teams to ensure execution with regard to the EHS Management system. He/She will be responsible for aligning the corporate EHS strategy that drives EHS accountability company wide. The Division EHS Director will be responsible for that prevent exposures to people, property and the environment. 

Position Responsibilities: 

Directs day-to-day activities of assigned H&S personnel.
Works as a Subject Matter Expert to develop implement and audit corporate standards and programs to ensure sites are in compliance with Company and regulatory environment, health and safety requirements.

Our food manufacturing client is seeking a Safety Manager for their South Sioux City, IA facility. The Safety Manager will drive all safety and environmental related initiatives throughout the facility ensuring all employees are provided the safest work environment achievable and maintaining operational compliance with company, customer and regulatory guidelines.
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field. 
Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in environmental, health and safety.
Knowledge of local, state and federal safety compliance and regulatory issues, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Lead a cultural change that will facilitate the journey to EHS Excellence.  Establish and maintain a cultural of integrity, credibility, and accountable for conducting periodic reviews and assessments to evaluate status of cultural change. 
Provide strategic leadership and work with management on identified EHS issues/recommendation/opportunities to foster continuous improvement of EHS culture and performance.
