The Cost Accountant will be responsible for:
Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
Analyzing data collected and recording results accurately and timely
Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods to determine effects on cost
Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs

Our client is a premier global insurance conglomerate.  Their US HQ is in Cincinnati, OH. This position would be in the corporate accounting department.  This position would be responsible for the financial reporting both with IFRS and statutory reporting to management and the parent company.  The client is looking for 3+ year’s large public accounting firm or corporate accounting and industry.  Insurance would be ideal.  CPA is required.  The company is anxious to hire.  The company offers an attractive compensation including bonus and relocation assistance. 
Role and Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and Analyze financial statements on both an IFRS and Statutory basis including analytic reviews distributed to management & parent company

Summary:  The senior cost accountant is responsible for maintaining the inventory financial records. This job includes maintaining the standard cost inventory tables within J.D. Edwards Enterprise-One system and reconciling the inventory by using Rapid Reconciler software.

International Corporation in the greater Asheville area has immediate need for a Controller with experience in IFRS and GAAP. This role will be based in Asheville but will have global interaction setting up financial systems as the corporation streamlines and centralizes accounting processes. Ideal candidate will have financial experience in manufacturing working with purchasing, banking, internal controls, cash flow, and other accounting functions. The Controller will have 4 direct reports. Position will involve travel up to 25%.
